At the age of 3 years and older, tinkers are classified into one of three TYPES. They are assessed which how well they match their TYPE.
Tinkers that are awarded 70 or more points for TYPE, have a chance of winning a star predicate, if their total points is 210 or more. Tinkers who achieve a minimum of 75 TYPE points may be considered for a MODEL certificate.
